Meet Byron Richard
Byron Richard is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose work blends classic songcraft with modern edge. Based in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, he creates music shaped by a wide spectrum of influences — from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and ABBA to Radiohead, Pink Floyd, U2, Jeff Buckley, and the defining voices of the ’90s alternative era including Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains.
A veteran independent artist, Byron has written, recorded, and released three solo records: Without A Net (2011), Faster (2019), and Songs from The Spectrum (2020). In celebration of his debut album’s legacy, Byron will release Without A Net (15th Anniversary Edition) on January 30, 2026, marking a milestone that revisits and reimagines the project that started it all. He also contributed as a songwriter and collaborator to a charity album supporting the Wounded Warriors (2016), expanding his catalog into meaningful philanthropic work.
In 2022, Byron stepped forward as the lead singer and primary songwriter for Byron & The Pyros, a project that pushes his sound into new, high-energy territory. The group has released the Volume One EP (2023) and the single Faster (2024), and is currently preparing the upcoming Volume Two EP, slated for release in early 2026 — marking the next chapter in the band’s evolving identity.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with respected industry veterans, including drummer Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver), guitarist Sonny Mayo (Sevendust, Snot), producer Rich Mouser (Oleander, Schleprock, Green Jelly), and producer Mark Rains (Tanya Tucker, Shooter Jennings, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). These partnerships reflect Byron’s commitment to craft, musicianship, and working alongside artists who share his dedication to powerful, memorable music.
With a growing catalog and an ever-expanding creative reach, Byron Richard continues to refine a sound that is melodic, emotive, and unmistakably his own — connecting with fans, industry professionals, and collaborators who recognize the depth and versatility of his work.
